Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (ITHIB) is a leading entity representing the textile and raw materials exporters of Turkey with its members over 7000. Activating throughout the country, ITHIB members deal with the production and export of various textile products such as yarn, fiber, fabric, home textile, technical textiles and garment sub-industry. ITHIB members realize more than 50% of the total textile export of Turkey and form the majority of the Turkish textile manufacturers and exporters. La Spola was first published in 1997, as the ‘voice’ of Italian textile districts. The magazine’s paper version was issued in 2009, when it became an online daily newspaper and the range of issues covered was extended: not only the entire textile-clothing chain, but also the textile machinery, economy and fashion fields. Showcase is a special glossy magazine which is published on the occasion of the textile industry’s major trade shows. It is usually published every six months but, in 2015, we released a special issue on the ITMA show, of which La Spola was media partner. Showcase magazine is distributed at Pitti Filati, Milano Unica, Première Vision, Filo and other trade shows.
